Cargiant has revealed more detail of its plans for a £5bn new town housing 6,500 people on the site of its car supermarket at Old Oak Common, west London. The dealership, owned by Warren, 62, wants to build a 45-storey residential tower on the site. The design is up for public consultation before a planning application is made for the site, on the banks of the Grand Union Canal. Cargiant's profits rose to £48.6m on £552m turnover in 2015. With assets up sharply too at £176.8m the business is easily worth £450m. Property developments and other interests take Warren to £550m.
