Donegal-born McNally, 79, a former Autosport journalist, made his fortune in Formula One hospitality before retiring six years ago. He founded Geneva-based Allsport to handle F1 trackside advertising. The Paddock Club, which caters for VIPs at race circuits, really took off, with McNally selling up in 2006 for a reported $350m. His extensive property includes Warneford Place in Wiltshire, once home to James Bond author Ian Fleming. Bilan, the Swiss business magazine, puts McNally's wealth at £610m in its 2016 rich list.
