Peter Cruddas and family
CMC Markets floated last year valued at £691m but after a difficult year the London finance group is worth just £336m. It was founded in 1989 by Cruddas, 63, who sold a third of his shares in the float, raising £140m, with his family retaining a £203m stake. Dividends, other assets and property add at least £210m, putting the family on £553m. A former Tory party co-treasurer, he gave £350,000 to the Brexit campaign Vote Leave.
