Ian and Richard Livingstone
Hotels in Monte Carlo, Barbados and Ibiza as well as London's Park Lane Hilton are among those owned by siblings Ian, 55 later this month, and Richard, 52. They also hold the hotel lease at Berkshire's Cliveden House, the former home of the Astor family (qv) and scene of the Profumo scandal in the 1960s. The brothers are investing more than £400m in a luxury Cuban tourist resort and have a £6bn venture in Panama City as well as 3.5m sq ft of property developments in the pipeline in London. There are net assets of £1.816bn in the 2015 accounts of London & Regional Group Holdings – up about £137m which also made a £104.4m profit. Their total portfolio is worth £9bn, with two-thirds in the UK and the rest in emerging markets.
